Neck and lower back pain are common problems, and can happen for a number of reasons e.g joint degeneration (wear and tear), postural demands at work or home and previous injuries.
Obviously each individual needs to be fully assessed and treatment will differ depending on the issue but Physiotherapy can: help mobilise tight, stiff or damaged joints; massage tight muscles; and provide ongoing pain relief through the use of Electrotherapy or Acupuncture.
Simple exercises which take only 10-15 minutes a day can also make a massive difference.
Our Clinical Pilates Instructor specialises Pilates for Spinal Pain.
We are still seeing people in clinic to help with these issues but are doing Virtual Triage to ensure a safe and efficient service.
Currently our group classes are not available due to Government Restrictions, but we are able to utilise the facilities in our Rehab Gym on a 121 basis with appropriate distancing and PPE.
